Bob Joslin, Director of Photography for the Troy University Department of Art and Design, is the Photographic Safari Leader to East Africa. He updates the listeners on plans for the May 8-22 Safari to Kenya in 2010. Participants from the age of twelve up are welcome. Jeff Mariola was a member of the research team, Prism, a nonprofit that studied the effects of the indoor environment on workers and on residents of assisted living facilities in 2007-2008 for Exeter University in England. Jeff talked about the surprising results of the studies on worker productivity and reported well-being of assisted living residents.

Diane Christy, Communications Director, and Rachel Barwick, Communications Coordinator for the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants, discuss the Central Alabama Financial Education Coalition and its Dec. 4 Summit. The coalition’s goal is to advance financial literacy among citizens of all ages.
